Dennis Chan

Co-Founder

Dennis Chan is an accomplished real estate executive with more than 14 years of global experience in real estate development and investments in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa. In 2024, Dennis co-founded MCQ Land, a forward-thinking real estate developer based in Singapore with a mission to build sustainable real estate that harmonizes nature, design, and sanctuary.

Prior to co-founding MCQ Land, Dennis was based between London and Dubai for 7 years where he served as the Global Head at Chestertons, one of United Kingdom’s largest and oldest real estate consultancies, overseeing the growth of its international offices, and consulted for British real estate developers on new development projects worth over £1B in central London. Before joining Chestertons in 2019, Dennis was the Group Sales Director at Eagle Hills, a Abu Dhabi-based masterplan developer with a portfolio over US$5B across 8 countries and 12 regional cities. Dennis was part of the senior management team that led the successful development and launch of branded residences projects such as St Regis Hotel & Residences Belgrade, Fairmont Hotel & Residences Morocco, Mandarin Oriental Hotel and Residences Muscat, W Hotel & Residences Amman, The Westin Saraya Aqaba Resort & Spa, St Regis Hotel & Residences Amman and many more. 

Prior to his international stint, Dennis was in the senior management team for 2 real estate development companies that were listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange. Some notable projects included The Ritz Carlton Residences Singapore, Hamilton Scotts Singapore, and Vantage Bay Iskandar Johor. 

Dennis holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the National University of Singapore and is a graduate of the Real Estate Management Program at Harvard Business School. He is also a Certified Green Mark Associate (GMA) with the Singapore Green Building Council.

Darren Chew

Co-Founder

Darren is an accomplished business professional with over 15 years of real estate experience spanning project development, private equity investment, asset management and sales & marketing. In 2024, Darren co-founded MCQ Land, a forward-thinking real estate developer based in Singapore with a mission to build sustainable real estate that harmonizes nature, design, and sanctuary.

A Naval Officer by early professional training, Darren was awarded a scholarship by the Singapore Armed Forces and serve in the Republic of Singapore Navy after graduation. Darren served his country with distinction as a pioneer Naval Combat Officer onboard the Formidable-class Frigates.

Darren later joined SLP real estate consultancy where he specialised in commercial and industrial properties across the APAC region. He was eventually promoted to Group Managing Director where he managed more than 100 full time staff and 1000 sales associates in APAC at the peak of the business. 

Darren subsequently became the Group COO of a Property Developer and Private Equity Firm, which manages a Fund AUM of SGD450M across joint venture projects. Darren manages the property portfolio of approximately SGD10B in asset value across more than 30 residential and commercial projects in the APAC region. As a Developer, Darren’s major projects include Frontier Industrial Park (136 acres) in Johor and The Landmark (GDV S$680M) in Singapore.

Darren is concurrently a Managing Partner of Quoin Ventures, a management consultancy and venture capital company specializing in Real Estate, Energy, and Sustainability. QV provided cornerstone strategy and turnkey solutions to esteemed companies e.g. Gaw Capital and TOP International. 

With expertise spanning the entire real estate value chain, Darren is a proven leader in deal origination, property development, and value optimization.  

Darren holds a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate from the National University of Singapore, and is a graduate of Global Executive MBA at INSEAD. Darren is a Certified Green Mark Associate (GMA) with the Singapore Green Building Council.
